The Process:
Deebo Samuel’s journey
from under-recruited to
NFL All-Pro

NFL WR Tyhsun “Deebo” Samuel is known for his strength, speed and explosive playmaking ability. He is known to be the NFL’s most versatile offensive weapon due to his ability to play multiple positions.

As a high school athlete Tyshun attended Chapman High School in the small town of Inman, South Carolina. While at Chapman High School he was scouted by NCP Sports and became the first athlete to enter the NCP Recruitment Support Program in 2011.

As a 3-star prospect, Tyshun was under-recruited and under-rated by many colleges and recruiting services. In 2012, NCP Sports rated him as a 4-star prospect who had the potential to play both running back and wide receiver at the college level. Tyshun continued to train and develop his recruitment profile during that summer and as a result, he had an outstanding senior year.  He was named the High School Sports Report AAA Player of the Year and he played in the North Carolina / South Carolina All-Star Shrine Bowl game.

Tyshun took multiple recruitment visits and ultimately signed to play college football at the University of South Carolina under legendary coach Steve Spurrier. During those college years, the NCP staff consulted with Tyshun and his family to provide support, build his “Deebo Samuel” brand and assist with overcoming the challenges of playing big-time college sports.

While at the University of South Carolina Tyshun earned All-American honors, All-SEC honors and was selected as the 36th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft. In his rookie season Deebo Samuel was selected to the NFL All-Rookie Team and played in the Super Bowl. In 2021, he was selected to the NFL Pro-Bowl while also receiving first-team NFL All-Pro honors.

NCP continues to support Tyshun and his Deebo Samuel Foundation by providing IT support, web development, event logistics and management of many key brand components.
